Merry "Kiss"mas

Merry Christmas!!
Wow, it really snuck up on me this year...more than usual.  Looking forward to turning over a new leaf...next year!
Meanwhile, here's a little recap of our year this year...
Abby turned 16...she's an amazing example to all of us!  Driving (carefully, and safely, thankfully) and having fun with friends, she remains focused and dedicated in everything she does.  She makes school look easy though she's taking hard classes, and managing to keep her perfect grades!  She started teaching piano lessons, and currently teaches 5 students now.  She worked at Snowasis making snow cones all summer
Kenzie, 14, keeps us laughing.  She is reluctantly attending Timberline Middle School and playing the flute, though she humors us and helps mom play small parts to accompany the choir in church.  We are hopeful that we can keep her amazing artwork to conventional mediums, though, in a few years you may not be surprised to see a new tv series called "Alpine Ink."  Tim has threatened to beat up the next person who writes on Kenzie's arm, so, hopefully we can stick to paper, fabric, etc.  She has designed (with Abby) some cool shirts with spray paint.
Cass, 11 looking forward to being in the school musical. She bravely tried out with 200 other students at Westfield for our school musical.  She'll be a "Prince Groupie."  She started violin lessons, and has a much more natural talent than her mother thankfully).  She enjoyed being a cheerleader this fall, but hasn't decided which sport to pursue.  She loves her 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Downs, and spends every possible moment with her friends.  She got braces this year!
Jimmy, 10.  Amazingly in this houseful of girls, Jimmy's true love is sports.  He had a great football season, though he learned for the first time this year that "you can still learn something from losing."  However, he still enjoys winning more.  He got to play new positions this year (tight end and linebacker).  He had some amazing plays, and a great experience!  Now gearing up for basketball (for the first time) as well as baseball.
Tim, in the best shape of his life.  He burns more calories in a morning than I do in a month.  He started mountain biking in the spring, and became an enthusiast within days.  He has a great group of friends that ride and run together.  He had a fun quick trip to Moab this fall to test his skills!
Julie constantly playing catch up.  Staying busy with family, church and helping just a little at the schools.  Grateful for our health, our home and all the blessings that we have, especially for wonderful family and friends!
