It just wouldn't be Spring without PROM!  Abby went with her good buddy Ben, and had a BALL!  She ordered her dress online, it was the exact color she hoped it would be, her friend bought some extra shrugs so we bought one from her, and it didn't need a single alteration...she lives such a charmed life!  She survived her AP tests and is looking forward to less stress at school for the next few weeks!

So, I ran out behind the cute couple because I forgot to take a picture of the back of Abby's hair (updo courtesy of Kenzie) and Ben wanted to be sure I got a picture of his fresh haircut, too(:

Check out these dancin' shoes!

It wouldn't be a dance without a pic of Abby and Jamison in front of the red curtain.

SPRING!!  It just wouldn't be official without a visit to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving point.

Our last Pinewood Derby!!  It was a photo finish just to finish the car, but, the UTEmobile did better than cars of the past.  The initial numbers were actually not quite right, so, we found out later that Jimmy's car came in 5th or 6th.  He actually beat the number 1 car in one race(:

We're so excited for Kenzie who made a last minute decision to try out for the Lone Peak Sophomore Cheer squad.  Looks like a really fun group of girls...GO KNIGHTS!!

These are the moments that make me thrilled to be a mother...it just doesn't happen often enough that all the kids are together PLAYING anymore...could I just freeze this phase of my life for a few more years...I am BLESSED!!
We had a FUN visit from Tina, Ethan, Josie and Ryan.  I just wish they'd stop growing so fast...We're so grateful they came by before they headed back to Cali...they came for a Spring Break visit the same time we left for Arizona.  Thanks for coming!!

Tim and Jimmy blazed ahead and were on their way down as we were reaching the top...Tim had to be on a call, so Jimmy just stuck with him!

CAMELBACK MOUNTAIN "WALK"
There are two ways to get up to the top...an easy way which I took at 5 months pregnant with Jimmy and a real hike.  Well, the girls weren't too happy that we deceived them (I was actually not in on the deception because I thought we were taking the easy route) but, you wouldn't know it by the smiles on their faces at the top(:
Our traditional Hard Rock Cafe and Diamondbacks game.  Glenn was going to give us a little dinner show, but, we opted to head to the game.  Savannah giggled the ENTIRE game, and Abby tried to get a little bit of reading done while we were there....nothing like a little Wuthering Heights during the 7th inning stretch.

We got a real taste of an authentic baseball crowd with the two bartenders sitting behind us.  They cleaned up their language after we reminded them that we had kids there, and Tim didn't even flinch when they spilled beer on him!
It was a pretty average game until the last couple of innings...a nailbiter where the Diamondbacks came out victorious!

         SPRING BREAK!!
We left the snow in Utah behind, and drove to Phoenix with the
Seningers...what a trip!  It was a bit chilly for the pool, but, there
was enough sun to keep us there.  Jen Rose and Joe met us there, brought us lots of treats, and were so sweet to go to all the trouble to join us.  Tim and Glenn had to work most of the week, but, they fit a couple of outings in.  Luckily they had meetings in Phoenix so we got to see the sun while they worked...poor dads!

We had an unbelievable Easter Sunday celebrating GRRRRRANDMOTHER's birthday, too!  This whole wheat bread bunny looked so cute in the pan, but, his tummy crumpled up when I tried to transfer him to the platter(:  It is such a blessing to celebrate this wonderful day with loved ones.  We are grateful for the Savior, his life, resurrection and atonement

How grateful we are for an amazing Mother, Grandmother, and GREAT Grandmother.  She is an amazingly beautiful 78 years old.  Still babysitting grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as taking her "elderly" friends to plays, the temple, etc.  She is INCREDIBLE!  We LOVE you!

Just a week into the official season, Jimmy is playing on two teams.  Lone Peak Knight Super League and Dodgers City League.  His city league team has 12-year-old players which is a bit intimidating for a scrappy 10-year-old.  However, last game he was 3 for 3 and his confidence is up.  We LOVE baseball!

CCassidy's birthday flower

Self Portraits by Cass

Cass is definitely getting her money's worth from her camera (thanks to Christmas money from Grandparents!)  Here are a few of her most recent self portraits
Birthday dinner at Happy Sumo(: with Grandpa Chief, Grandmother and Grandma Connie (Jimmy was tired of waiting and on his way to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory)

Cass is 12!

Even though March is over, we just had to make sure we commemorate the wonderful life of Cass McKeon...she had a sleepover birthday party, but, by 6:30 a.m. it was clear there was very little sleeping going on.  We made homemade pizzas, played bunco and watched high school musical 3.  She has lots of fun friends.

More Holiday Fun (at least for mom)

April Fools!  I cooked up some sausage for breakfast and had the kids come in for "pigs in a blanket."  Well, rather than a pancake wrapped around the sausage, I lovingly placed a pig hoof on each plate and covered it with a pancake.  Of course, I didn't make anyone eat it, and they did get pancakes and sausage for breakfast, but, since a picture says a thousand words it's plain to see that I'm the only one who thought my joke was funny(:
